We were a little reluctant because the reviews weren’t very good. However, our food was EXCELLENT. Husband got primavera pizza I got the lemon chicken with gluten free pasta. I was impressed because the cashier asked if my gluten was an allergy this needing special preparation touching NO GLUTEN (clean up wipe down). My gluten free need is not that severe however, I have friends who need this special preparation. If you are seeking high table service, this is not your place. It is casual. Order at the counter, get your own drinks, etc. I would return.

Presto!. The pizza was yummy and the staff was friendly! I’d definitely go back!

Don’t sit down without walking to the back of the restaurant and placing your order first, after all, this is a hybrid self serve restaurant. Not only that but you pay for both your meal and the tip in advance, incredible! After which you claim a table and the server brings over your meal. Oh yea, you get your own drinks. As for the food, we both had spaghetti and meatballs and I am almost 100% certain everything they serve was delivered by Sysco or GFS. There is nothing here, and I mean nothing, made on site. After I located the four puny meatballs hidden under the canned glazing they call tomato sauce, I took one bite and immediately my mind turned to thoughts of high school cafeteria food. In other words, don’t waste your time. Find a restaurant that actually makes their own food and has an ownership group not related to ABC Country Buffet.

We’re slowly on a mission to try all the Presto Cucina’s (there’s four). So far this one has been the best. Food is prepared quickly and it’s hot. Manager is very accomidating and clearly a good manager. (Unlike the White Rock location) Food itself: meatballs are gross pre-made grey balls Tiramisu has a good centimeter of cocoa on top which makes it very unappealing. All in all it’s typical quasi-fast food at fast food prices. Don’t expect five star Italian fare.

I come here for 10 years, every time service is worse than last! Always so many young staff around but every time it takes longer to get your order. Over staff? Maybe! It’s a shame to see once such a good restaurant quality and service is going down.

Totally Unacceptable. On Sunday, March 16/08 three of us decided to head to Presto Cucina for lunch. I guess we got there shortly after they had opened for the afternoon because it was very cold and uncomfortable. Needless to say, we didn’t feel the urge to sit down and stay for lunch.Instead, we decided that it would be better to take away a pizza — a large with pepperoni and mushrooms for $21.95 (I believe). I thought this a little overpriced for a pizza with only two items, but whatever. Upon arriving, we opened the box and were extremely disappointed. Not only was the pizza burnt around the edges, but the quantity of the two items were of a miniscule amount. For that price, I was certainly expecting a more substantial amount of the toppings. Let me tell you that I do mean a very, very small amount of toppings. We were disgusted. Then, an hour or two later, we discovered our debit card was still in the hands of the restaurant. We had sat there for over 15 minutes waiting for the takeout, and they hadn’t returned it. An oversight perhaps, but was this deliberately done because we had not left a tip.We also found the staff ‘cold’ (like the restaurant). We will not be returning, that’s for sure!
