Where’s lisa???. Unless lisa is working, service is consistently terrible.food is ok….. as is to be expected… truck stop kind of food.but there is NO service (with the one above mentioned exception)the waitresses are constantly IN THE kitchen yapping away and are completely oblivious of the fact that there are customers IN the restaurant, or new customers arriving, or customers who are WAITING to pay.it’s the most bizarre thing to see…. seems like no one cares about it AT ALL either.

Just went there today, I am in my mid 40s, and can now say I have received the worst service I have in my life. The waitress other then bringing us initial cup of coffee, and taking order, in which I have doubts she would have if I hadnt turned to look at her, prior her taking order from another patron that had came in a while after we had. She walked by our table and in an after thought put her pot down on the table behind us, then came back and took our order. Never seen her again.Almost 45 min later and all the other customers around that had already been fed and the guy beside us gone. My husband asked why we were the first in and last to get our meal.That is when she finally went to check. Bringing out cold hard sunny side eggs and expecting my husband to eat. Due to the fact the plate was cold and the eggs looked dryed up I am sure she was aware, but just didnt care. She even looked annoyed because my husband inquired as to why we were the first in and last served. These were not meals that took long to make, infact the guy beside us ordered a burger and has a lot longer cooking time then bac and eggs and a sandwich. The guy behind us ordered ten to 15 minutes after us and still got fed and done before us. The time we went in prior to this service was good not exceptional but didnt wait and we weren’t ignored. But after this experience and the server not being the least bit concerned as to wether we would even recieve our meal until we required, I will never return. The sunny side eggs being cold and hard was a clear indication thatthis food sat for quit some time, but she still had the nerve to serve it. When I did complain about it she asked if I waited remade my response was no, why so we could wait another 40 minutes. We received no apology, but went to pay for coffee and she said not worry about it, believe me I wasn’t. My husband is a truck driver and she just caused time and money on the road, dosent get paid unless he is driving, and due to the fact we have very few places to park a big truck there went another hour. So no the coffee did not even come close in making up for her ignorance.
Great American Diner. If you want great American cuisine (Bacon, Mushroom, Cheddar Burger!) and some International meals thrown in (the best French Onion soup!) come here.Service is pleasant and the meals come quick.Nothing fancy, just great food at a great price!
