We love this place! Always a happy customer and the one time I wasn’t they corrected it no questions asked. The staff are super friendly (especially Wayne). My favourites are the beef dip and the Cajan spaghetti. Appys are awesome especially their wings! For drinks you must try the Vancouver Island tea!!!
Don’t know what Mr.Mikes did but WOW, the food is amazing now, the drinks are bang on ( highly recommend the Bulldog, it’s HUGER but so darn yummy!) I love this place, they even have deep fried pickles!
My first experience of mr mikes was not good at sll due to the large wait time we encountered. Since then it has been nothing but great service and great food! I really love the ragin Cajun steak!
Mr mike at first thought come restaurants like earls or the keg high price and fancy but this was not too far off expectations but offered some moderate different choices at more reasonable prices, having said that this review is not overly favorable. The first experience was a disappointment and a sign of things to come upon entering we had to wait 10 min to be seated in a not so busy restaurant this seemed a bit much, then when seated the server was prompt at getting our drinks and our appetizer orders, the baked potato and bacon soup was pleasent and I will favor the French onion as being excellent. The main dish is a mixed bag, my wife had the bacon Mac and cheese and while the portions seemed small the flavor was pretty tasty, my order was the slookomchuk chicken sandwich this was a disappointment for many reason first they say it to be a French loaf more accurate would be a French hot dog bun slathered in garlic butter that it over powered the basil pesto, lots of mushroom small chicken and the fries were cold. After the meal we were presented the bill and wait 10-15 min till they noticed we want to pay, we also witness other patrons seating themselves after getting ignore for too long. It is because of the soup I am willing to give this place another shot and may revise my review score higher if the experience is better. Till then I recommend a pass if this place.
Food was good we had the scook’m chuck chicken and the bacon elbow Mac cheese. The hostess service lacked unfortunately for a sloooow night, and to get our bill we waited almost 15 min. We even seen 2 elderly lady’s trying to seat them selves because no one was covering the front and to boot there were 2 waitresses going back and forth and they looked right at them… Total lack of service, oh and then the hostess is the one who came with the debt machine not our original waitress.. Learn how to manage your tables people it’s not rocket science !
Awful experience NEVER will return. Took my mom for lunch thought we would try it out was awful. When you go out and eat with someone you expect to eat with them at the same time, not here omg they forgot to put my order in, then when they finally brought it out 20 minutes after my mom finished eating, would you believe it was not what I ordered. The waitress says is there anything else can I bring you I said yes what I ordered, it was not my steak and I ordered fries and it was a baked potato. The waitress thought I was kidding and I guess it was to busy as there was maybe 3 other tables in the restaurant at the time. For a 80 bucks one would think you would get service nope. All she offered was a free appy next time, lol that is funny will never return, they don’t care how to treat a customer right. Can see they are still awful look at the awful ratings.
Eat there all the time, great place to relax and have a few drink and a bite. Some of the new waitress’s are useless but what can you do….. Wish they didn’t take out the couches 🙁
