Hands down best fish and chips place in the lower mainland. What makes this place so special? The batter. Perfect amount of batter, perfect fluffy, crispy texture and perfect complimentary taste to the fresh, light, humongous cuts of fish. The best time to go is Sunday evening for all you can eat fish and chips with a bottomless drink for $13.00. Staff are friendly as well. A bit of a hole in the wall, super old school joint but has been solid for years. The kind of place where the older generation have been coming here for years, but that’s how you know it’s legit. If you’re looking for that one stop fish and chips shop, look no further.
Way too much money. 2 pc fish and chips over $17 really?wtf! never again
Never again. Greasy. Everything tasted the same.
Mhm grease. Customer service was fairly poor – prices on website didnt match what they had in the shop. As well my order for take-out was incorrect and they wouldn’t even consider the possibility that the mistake was theirs.Halibut and chips were both too greasy. Would not come here again unless I am short on wd-40.
Great place. We had a very nice lunch . Great food and service,we will be back for sure!
Cheap and great. Theres a few excellent fish and chip places left . This ones right up there. It’s very good quality the fries are excellent and there’s a few less common offerings here. Newfie dressing and mushy peas spring to mind. Service as great. The place gets extremely busy but the quality of the food is very steady well after fifteen or so years of going there I’ve never had a miss. I can’t say anything bad about this place. This is the only Austin fishouse that is amazingly good. The others with the same name are not the same.
Great!. Generous portions…not greasy…and delicious!
