It is our Wedding Anniversary today so we decided to spend some quality time together. My wife saw this place on You Gotta Eat Here and after showing me some of their food we decided we really did. The restaurant is located off the typical beaten path near an industrial area. It is a cozy place with the feel of an old German farmhouse kitchen with wooden chairs and tables and plaid tablecloths. I ordered the German Deluxe Breakfast which comes with scrambled eggs, farmers sausage, Hash browns, potato cake, shaved ham, bacon, pork schnitzel, and toast (I chose multi grain). It is a lot of food for the price and wonderfully delicious. My wife ordered the Regular Breakfast which has one fewer eggs, no schnitzel, and your choice of meat. The eggs were very reminiscent of my childhood, so despite being a bit soggy it was worth it for the memories. The sausage is perfectly peppered, the bacon just on the crisp edge of crispy, and the cured ham is juicy and full of flavour. The potatoes were unseasoned, soft and fluffy on the inside and pan seared on the outside, likely baked in the oven and then pan fried slightly which gives them a more traditional fresh potato flavour. The Schnitzel was a little disappointing, the bread coating it was soggy and falling off and the pork was rubbery indicative of having been frozen and then thawed and reheated. Overall I felt that service was great, food was reasonably priced, and despite some disappointment with the schnitzel it was worth visiting.
A family-owned restaurant that serves huge portions of decent homemade meals at very reasonable prices. It is kind of a hole in the wall in a random industrial park – but the place is normally busy.Great breakfast options here that will always leave you very full. Make sure you come here hungry!

Terrible service we waited an hour to only find out they forgot our orders, and didn’t start making our food until we asked about when our order would be served.
If I write a great review, this place will be even more crowded. You will definitely get more than your money’s worth here. Forget Mickey Dee’s (fake food), IHOP (WAY too much sugar in everything, dangerously high level), White Spot and Denny’s (both are overpriced), and come here. Come early, and you will get a good seat. They’re all good, though. The food is so delicious, and you can likely take half home with you for dinner. The staff are never stressed, no matter how many people are waiting to order, or to find a seat. One great thing is that you will share a table with others. That’s just the way it is. If you aren’t a friendly type, stay home.
First time dining here and it was decent for a cheap eats all day breakfast. Got a large portion of food for the price you pay, on top of bottomless coffee after your first cup. Their bacon was really nice and not as fatty as other restaurants. I found the home fries weren’t well seasoned and were soaking in oil. The potato pancake was nice, but for my personal preference it was a little on the sweet side for me and the bread was overly toasted. Lastly though I love getting watermelon mine was half rotten. I tried a bit of my partner’s Denver omelette and it was really tasty. However, I wish I had the schnitzel because I heard it was really good. Maybe next time when we go there I may try it. The hazelnut coffee was really nice as well.Overall, a good restaurant!
Honest, gutsy, homemade goodness. Value and service. Love it. Had the German breakfast, very good except the Schnitzle was a bit disappointing.
