My boyfriend and I had the Smoked Salmon Pizza and Mushroom Cannelloni. The food was phenomenal and the servers were trying to be as accommodating as possible, given the high volume of people and reservations. We ended up sitting at the bar and were given a free salad to start. Service was efficient and friendly and it was quite entertaining watching the chefs prepare the pizzas and pastas. Would recommend this place in a heartbeat, but make sure you have a reservation! Gets quite busy on Saturday nights.
I like this place for a gulf island it tries hard. Service is good but slooooow, hey it’s gulf island time! They sometimes forget special requests but Pizzas are nice wood fired and diff; like apples and brie. Pastas are fresh and tasty, it’s pretty pricey for what u get but not a rip off. Nice setting/patio too
Excellent choice. This was our favourite on our trip to Bowen, the food was excellent, service excellent, and the ambiance very nice. Huge variety of menu and daily special items, everything we had was perfectly prepared, presented and we thought reasonably priced. Decent wine selection and cocktails range. Our group ordered a clam/mussel appy, with focaccia, really nice sauce, huge portion. We then each ordered one of the 4 daily specials they offered–mushroom cream ravioli w truffle, carbonara, halibut and lamb. Every dish was excellent. Attentive server, and very enjoyable evening. Highly recommend.
The food was exceptional! However, the service was awful! We went there on Canada Day after a hike…and granted, we weren’t dressed up fancy given the day’s activities but we felt unwanted from the time we walked in. Our server seemed genuinely uninterested in answering any questions we had to ask from the wine list to the specials of the day. In fact, it was the topic of conversation at our table for much of the dinner – it was actually laughable! But, the food itself was wonderful. If the service was a bit more warm and inviting, this restaurant would get a 101% review from us.
Excellent overall my favorite restaurant on the island..menu and quality of the food is top notch.. Staff very attentive even in the busiest of times.. Best ambience I highly recommend
Fantastic Pizza. This little place is great, and we had one pizza (with split toppings) and a salad and it fed 4 of us for $40.Great place, with excellent flavours!!
Can be expensive depending on what you are getting but the food is top quality and well worth it. Staff were all pleasant and knowledgable about the food. I definately recommend checking the chalk board out front for the specials, both myself and fianc ordered off there and were both delicious. I would return and will be recommending to friends
