The Tuscany is a pizza/pasta place that has nothing to do with the Tuscan kitchen what so ever – maybe an Italian tourist on Bowen once asked to use their washroom which would be the closest to any Tuscan affiliation they would ever have had. At some point someone working in that kitchen apparently discovered caramelized onions (which is actually a French thing) and now it’s the main ingredient of everything they serve – have a pizza and a pasta and it all taste like caramelized onions. Now you might say; I like caramelized onions! But trust me you don’t if it is the main ingredient of you appetizer, your pasta and your pizza – you will be burping caramelized onions three days later. I would suggest walking up the road an ordering a pizza at the Bowen Pub
