A gorgeous place to have brunch. The waiters are full of passion and patience. The dim sums are pretty delicious, especially the steamed vermicelli roll with scallops and asparagus. The scallops is big and fresh enough. Also, the durian waxy rice cake is also special. The filling is fresh and filled up with durian. To sum up, it is the most authentic dim sum restaurant I’ve ever been in Vancouver!
Kirin Seafood Restaurant is a popular Chinese restaurant in Metro Vancouver and they are always packed on the weekends for dim sum.Sui Mai is a classic dim sum dish that always needs to be ordered. The sui mai was juicy and had a good texture from the pork and shrimp.Steamed Prawn Dumpling is another must have item on the menu. Densely packed full of shrimp in the little dumplings. I love anything with shrimp. The xiao long bao is a steamed pine mushroom and pork dumpling. It was surprisingly really good here. Lots of broth inside and the skin was a nice consistency and not thick at all. foodology.ca
