Decent bubble tea, but tasty wheel pies. I’ve had both the mango and the papaya milk tea. Unfortunately, they used powdered papaya which was disappointing since the mango was fresh. Also, I noticed the pearls were smaller and less chewy than most places, which was a little disappointing. Overall, okay for bubble tea, but not really special. The wheel pies are very unique though. Crispy on the outside and chewy like a mochi on the inside with your choice of filling. I opted for the matcha, red bean, peanut and the original cream flavor. I wouldn’t recommend the cream – had a bitter after taste, almost like when you use too much cornstarch or cream of tartar. My favorites were definitely the matcha (which was a surprise!). My bf really enjoyed the peanut and the red bean.
Their bubble tea is so fresh. I always get the lychee black tea and J can literally see the grounded lychee floating in my drink. It ain’t no lychee syrup but actual lychee juice. The price is pretty cheap too. Yes, looks like a hole in the wall but totally worth it.
Above average bubble tea: I tried the mango fresh fruit milk ($4) and oolong milk ($3.50) with grass jelly topping (+$1) . If I’m in the area I’d come back to try other flavours. I didn’t make any sugar/ice alterations and it tasted fine to me
The fillings of pies are amazing! I ordered two kinds of wheel piesred bean and radish. Both of them are delicious: the red bean is not too sweet and the radish is salty. Also, they are only 1.2 CAD, it’s much cheaper than the ones in Yaohan Centre. But the most regrettable thing is that the location is very hard to find.
I heard about this mystery bubble tea place hidden away in RPM (Richmond public market). I was set to find this little gem tucked away from sight. Find it and you shall be rewarded with bubble tea!
Friendly staff. They should put the list of toppings out like other bubble tea places do. Average quality drinks which match their prices.
Nice fresh bubble tea, and friendly quick service. It’s a tricky place to find though. I got passionfruit with pearls and jelly, half sweet, which is what I order 90% of the time. Their version of half sweet is pretty darn sweet!
