This is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant to go to. This is a small hole in the wall but I love going here because the food is so good. I’m the type of person who judges their pho based on the brother of a restaurant, not the texture of noodles or quantity of meat. This restaurant is by far the tastiest broth that I have ever had.
Good pho. Bad service. Ordered their Pho with well done steak and got seated. I was planning to eat in their empty restaurant but was disappointed because the other tables still have food and service items from previous customers who dined in, it was just there while their 2 waiters were eating in a nearby table just said that its ok for me to order. So glad I had the pho to go although I was not asked if I like to dine in or just do take out. Anyway, I don’t recommend going here for the Pho, some other places offer better service especially if you are within the Richmond area.

Everything about this place was terrible. We were sat at a clearly dirty table. I asked for no cilantro due to am allergy and they wouldn’t do it. When the food was brought we never saw the waiter again. The soup was greasy. When I went to pay I was told they only take cash. No one told us this when we came in. Apparently there is a sign on the door that says cash only. I went and checked and it is up high on the door and hard to see. I had to walk three blocks w my young daughter to get cash. The staff was rude. There are a lot of good pho places out there. This is not one of them. Very Dissapointing.
Terrific pho. Been here 4 times and always good pho!
Disappointed!. This place is now at the NW corner of Westerminster and Cooney, in the plaza (it’s been for many years). It’s a place I usually go and have been for a long time, ever since they were at their old location by Nando Chicken. But after today I won’t be going back. I went there with my parents and ordered their BBQ Pork with vermicelli. My mom ordered the same except with rice and dad had a small #2 pho. His pho was fine (just smaller than expected, almost like a kid’s size) but our BBQ pork was horrible! I have never had such dry pork chop. We were there around 4pm on a Saturday and the place was empty – we were hoping that it was because it was too early for dinner…..but later we realized that perhaps it’s just not popular anymore due to the fierce competition of pho places in Richmond. It tasted like the pork chops had been BBQ-ed many days ago, left to dry, then reheated before serving. The flavour was there but if only it was made fresh, I believe it would have tasted much better. By the end of the meal the pork got tougher and chewier as the food cooled down…it was like eating jerky. My mom felt the same way and so did dad who had a bite of it. He couldn’t believe this was the same place as the one we used to go to by Nando’s Chicken. Maybe they changed owners or chefs?I really hope the owners would put more heart into making sure the food tastes good. I would rather they remove this dish from the menu if it’s going to taste like that. *sigh*… never been so disappointed from eating pork chop at any Vietnamese restaurant.
Good pho, fast service and great value.
