We arrived at 1658. The afternoon tea set menu runs from 1430 to 1700. Yes, we were close to the time, but sat down before 1709 and I was expecting the afternoon tea menu and not the dinner menu. Not happy.Really wanted to walk out. Anyway, ordered Singapore noodle. Was $13.95 and it was smaller portion, like the size of the afternoon tea set. The noodle was dry and does not look fresh because it felt hard and looked like it has been sitting around since the morning.Ordered a 3 meat combo and it was okay. The borscht soup was watery.Overall, the overpriced for the portion size. BTW, doggy bag is another $0.50 per container. Oh, cash or debit only.Not a place I would suggest as there are many similar places Richmond and Vancouver.
March, 3, 2018I went there with 3 friends for our late dinner around 8:30pm.We tried their..Curry beef on rice… my friend need to wait an hour to get it.. their excuse was all chef eating dinner now.. but another friend got his order with same time he ordered his curry beef.My friend told me that, the curry beef size is smaller than 2 weeks ago . Not much beef brisket inside.. not worth for long waiting. Even he knows the manager.Deep fried fish/ chicken on rice… nothing specialChicken/ beef spare ribs on spaghetti with peppercorn sauce, came with mixed veggies soup and one small piece of bun, I had ice lemon coke with my meal…. the sauce was tasteless and can tell put a lot of corn starch inside.. beef spare ribs taste sweet?! Chicken… they smashed into very thin slice then deep fried it.. but they burnt my chicken.. over all.. my ordered not worth for $20 + tips.Everything expensive there.. but the manager keeps saying … another restaurant complaint them about they charged cheap price for it….No Chinese restaurant around that area… it’s kind of neighborhood restaurant..I recognized the owner, managers, 3 staffs used to work for superstar cafe and redbud restaurant before.
