I am horrified at first of the prices this place charges, and second how disgusting the sandwiches are despite the price. Old turkey meat…egg salad which was actually just a dump load of watery mayonnaise. NOT worth the almost $9 I paid for one sandwich. The only thing was the Rice Krispie square which they didnt make. Revolting.
New Owners :P. So disappointed with the new owners! This son and his mother have no idea how to run a coffee shop. They are clearly trying to cut corners wherever they can, their customer service is not there and with the latest move to fire a staff member who has been there for 10 years …. just not sure what to say. Very sad. It WAS a great place to go but I will not be going there any more. So sorry to the last 2 staff who are still there (for now) as they are both sweet girls.
USED to be AWESOME, but… It used to be wonderful with the old owner and staff, things have changed since the newest owners have stepped in. Corners are clearly being cut, for example, the creamcheese in the pumpkin and raspberry muffins are much more watery than they usually are, and specialty coffees are poorly made, (fairly cold, too sweet).IF THE CURRENT OWNERS ARE READING THIS (i doubt they would because they clearly don’t care enough about the products they are selling) PLEASE TAKE A NOTE FROM THE PREVIOUS OWNERS AND FIX THE WAY YOURE RUNNING IT. YOU’RE RUINING THIS COFFEE SHOP’S REPUTATION. – A very dissapointed customer.
Drove out of my way to try this place because of the rating but was a bit disappointed. Still better than Starbucks but didn’t find it overly special.
The hot chocolate is DELICIOUS, as are the fresh baked muffins. Some of the staff is a little spacey and rude at times, but I will forgive them as long as they keep making Pumpkin Spice muffins!!!
Cravings Coffee House! Awesome!. Cravings Coffee House is the best coffee shop in Langley! I stop at this coffee shop often and I find that the atmosphere, the food, and the coffee are always exceptional. The staff is always super friendly and the caf is always tidy. I really enjoy their muffins which are baked each morning by the owner of the coffee shop so if you get there early enough you can snag one fresh from the oven! They have a great selection of both cold and hot drinks; my personal favourite is the 3rd Street Chai Tea Latte, which is by far the best chai tea latte around. It is a great place for lunch as well- they have a great signature sandwich menu with a variety of sandwiches that are made to order- that means FRESH veggies, FRESH meats and cheeses and FRESH breads- you aren’t getting a thin slice of ham between two slices of wonderbread here! And none of this pre-packaged crap that you find at other places. I love this caf, it is cozy, trendy, the food is fresh and the staff is fun- and most importantly, it’s INDEPENDENT! I mean really, do we want to support chain coffee places like Starbucks who trick people into buying overpriced (and not fairly traded) coffee by manufacturing culture? Don’t be a sheep! Support awesome, local, independent coffee goodness!
I go here all the time, family owned and their muffins can’t be beat!
