No longer does Delivery. It’s really sad because I have been ordering from them for almost 6 years. The Lamb roast was to die for! But over the past 2-3 years the prices went way up, the food and service for takeout and dine-in have gone downhill. I’m not sure if under new management or not but it seems like that might be the case.
Worst food. Golphis used to be authentic Italian food that I loved. Must be new management because the last order of pizza was much thinner crust with much less mozzarella and tasted like cardboard. They had a separate menu attached that was for food not even Italian and they have a buffet that is not even Italian. I will never order there again and sadly the real golphi’s will be missed. I think the owners are greedy and are trying to market other non Italian menu items while skimping out on the original menu. Will order elsewhere from now on. Tried to complain but the male person I spoke to did not understand what I was trying to say and was in my opinion argumentative. Hopefully others will voice their opinions because it saddens me after 15 yrs of ordering there.
Best pizza !. Golphis makes the best pizza in the town ! All their pizzas are homemade and they add lots of big topping pieces, not just the little pieces that other pizza places do. I would definitely come back again !
I usually order delivery from here, the pizza is fantastic, one of the best pizzas around by far. Last night me and my friend decided to dine in, not the nicest place i’ve seen, looks kind of old. I’ve ordered the roast lamb, my friend got the baked spaghetti with meatballs, both where really good, but the star was the calamari that we got for an appetizer, it was so delicious, it was the best i ever had! Service was good, drinks were cheap. It wasn’t overly crowded, so we could enjoy the conversation to some nice lounge music while watching a Canucks game. Highly recommended.
Also the menu that is posted on here is not even close to the menu that they have.13 Jan, 2014I don’t know why it has such good reviews. This place is horrible! The pasta noodles were mushy, the sauce tasted like ragu. Service was horrible as well, seemed like she hated her job.
Delicious!. My boyfriend and I ordered delivery from this place night after hearing good things about it. It was delicious! I ordered the roast lamb which was super tender. It came with rice, potato, pita and Greek salad. I also tried the spaghetti which was really good as well. The portions were huge! Overall, Golphis has great food, big portions and friendly service. We will definitely be ordering from here again soon!
A good value. As I live within walking distance, I have visited Golphis twice in the last six months. The room is never overly busy and I confirmed with the front of the house that there is a large takeout and delivery portion to the business. The interior is average, service is good. The food is fairly basic fair with the greek and pizza accents but it is tasty and the portions are quite large- I take some home and I can eat!I recommend this place due to value but its likely not going to impress foodies in the least.
