Food and drink are consistently great. The staff/server are attentive and friendly. We always look forward to going to this pub and would highly recommend it.
We usually go here when we want some fancier, more expensive food. But one of our favourite dishes, was changed, wherein the ‘truffle fry poutine’ didn’t have really any truffle taste, had less cheese, and was smaller. The other food was so good, I got a burger w/ a Cloud 9 GF bun, it was great, and my hubby got an amazing pear salad. But the servers were all over the place, we had no idea who we were supposed to ask about things like, ‘hey, why is our appetizer coming out so late’ and ‘could we have more water and napkins’–basic stuff. The different servers were in all areas of the restaurant, making it really hard to figure out who could help us. We had to ask 2 different people if we could order drinks, 2 ppl about the delay w/ the appetizer, 2 people just to get water. No attention was taken to what we needed.. at least not for about 15-20 mins at a time. Also, both servers seemed to treat it as weird that I wanted a smaller, drink, which I thought was kind of rude, I mean, I was driving and can’t drink much.
Exterior looks scuzzy and uninviting but its jam packed here on Fridays, good luck having a place to seat They have daily specials with an awesome and reasonably priced entrees Angus steak was perfectly cooked just the way I liked it! Hats off to the chef considering this was a very busy evening. Steak was paired with garlic mashed potato, side of veggies and piping hot Yorkshire pudding which I love! $2 extra for crispy onions Waffle fries are great side for the burgers POCHACHOS — now this is the bomb! Never leave Terminal pub without this! The photo says it all! Perfectly cooked waffle potatoes, gooey cheesy, yummy, fresh toppings + salsa & sour cream. If you are carbo loading, this is a must 5 stars!!! Steven was our awesome server; he was on top of it all. Friendly, smiles and great server which I rarely find these days hidden gem in New West 🙂
Indsutrial hip place to smash, even tho its a pub the food is pretty dam good. Still to this day their waffle fry poutine is one of the top 5 ive done in my life for sure. Was killer
New favorite breakfast spot. Stopped in as the first hit on a Columbia street pub crawl.The exterior does NOT do this place justice. The interior is comfortable and welcoming. The staff are quick and friendly.
