Good neighbourhood pub. Came here a few times and the food has always been served hot and fresh. Chicken strips are juicy and moist but a bit bland. Potato wedges, nachos, wings, and fish&chips are good. Recommend checking the specials, such as cheap beer pitchers and half price chicken wings. Place is very spacious and comfortable, good for big crowds. Service is always friendly and nice. Would definitely come back with friends for some good pub food and cheap drinks! curiouslycarmen.com

Processed. I’ve been here a few times when various lunch companions have selected this restaurant and never have been impressed. Recent visits have included a burger (premade patty, canned salsa) and halibut burger (ready made, tasted like cod). But it’s the service that’s the most disappointing aspect. The grouchy staff ignored us when we walked in and after we sat down, I was IDed. Despite pubs being welcome to all ages, despite it being lunch, despite my ordering no alcohol and, oh yea, my being over the age of 30. It felt very invasive.

Old School Pub with Good Food. We went on a Monday night and had their Turkey dinner special for $6. I was surprised how great it was; roast turkey and gravy, mashed potatoes, veggies, stuffing and cranberry sauce. This is a real bargain! The waitress says they always roast whole turkeys on Mondays for the club house sandwiches. We also had the hot wings which were good put I though they were expensive for the amount you got ( $12 ) and they didn’t come with celery and carrots either. I thought the service was just fine, prompt and friendly; the beer was cold and the food served hot. A big, old school pub with live entertainment on weekends.

Never had such rude service.. Technically I didn’t try it. I sat down with some friends and no server came, so I went up to near the self-serve bar to ask if the whole pub is self serve. As a response the old lady waitress pretty much yelled at me as if I was a mentally handicapped explaining the whole process of sitting down and waiting. Just left, with so many other places around that area of Hastings why should anyone choose a place like this.

Not hugely impressed. Eh, just another pub. Nothing special. Service was just ok, food was tasty but nothing I wouldn’t expect somewhere else. If you live close go for it, if you don’t then don’t bother.
