Whoever underrated this pub is crazy!!!!! – I’m stating it here straight and plain: pub/bar food is good food and what this unpretentious establishment offers is the very best of pub/bar food.My test of how good an restaurant is is how I FEEL after I’ve left there. I have put their food to the test on many a delicious occasion to the point where I can confidently declare that this is a super rare establishment which allows me to indulge and not have to pay – their delicious food not taking any unnecessary toll on me!
Out for chicken wings this evening and we decided to try a new place so we ended up at Oscar’s Pub. The pub has a kind of eclectic clientele but we felt very comfortable. The server welcomed us and invited us to sit wherever. Friendly. The wings were excellent! We ordered the salt and pepper and a basket of hot. Big and juicy wings with great flavour.The menu looks like it has many good value items on it that I’ll be happy to check out on a future visit. Recommended.

CLOSED DOWN. We went to go here on Friday the 28th June and it has closed down due to bankruptcy. Shame as we always liked it here!
Second Home Style Pub. Having recently discovered Oscar’s, I have to say it is one of my fav spots to head after work for a drink and dinner. It is clear that the establishment attracts a bit of a sketchy crowd at times (esp. on weekends), however overall I have noticed a mix of people. I admire the fact that they consistently make an effort with great week day specials ! For example, on Wednesday evenings they offer all wing types for .37 cents. They are a good size and juicy. Another great appy is the stuffed yorkies ! House salad is a great addition for only $5.00. Based on my experience the staff is friendly and attentive. Sitting at the bar will get you even better service though. Lastly, I found the washrooms to be super clean and well looked after for a busy pub. If you desire to kick back and watch a sports game with cool company and delicious treats I ENCOURAGE you to step into the wonderful world of OSCAR’S !
We had good service and * Melt in Your Mouth*, 18 Hour Roasted BEEF BRISKET!!!! OMG, better then mom makes…….I would never tell her that tho.
