kind of hidden along North Road where Independent grocer store is lots of parking space available make a reservation please as the place is busy in the evening or prefer to have your order to go perfectly seasoned food for me, not salty at all, my type! my fave is the sweet & sour chicken! Served piping hot, yummy sauce, the crunch & chewiness are unexplainable the black bean noodle: Jajangmyeon is new to me. I liked the noodle texture and well balanced taste to it. Perfect combination with the sweet & sour pork and chicken combo 7 is good for 10 people I must say attentive servers, fresh & good quality dishes $18-22/ per person for meal combo

Solid spot. Brought here by a Korean friend who ordered for us. It’s an authentic shop that is known particularly for their Ja Jang Myun. Excellent stuff! ourfoodadventure.tumblr.com

There are many Korean restaurants on North Road, but this one stands alone in the complex of Independent supermarket. There are a plenty of parking stalls in a big parking lot. My family and I had lunch here. The restaurant was quite busy. There were a lot of customers before noon already. We were lucky to get a table without waiting. Many customers who walked into the restaurant had to wait in line. We ordered ja jang noodles, rice with braised tofu with pork, prawns, scallops and veggies and jjam bong (noodles in soups with seafood and veggies). The portion of each dish was big. We had to pack half of the rice with braised tofu and some ja jang noodles home. The quality of each dish was above average. I gave 4/5, because there was a lot of MSG in the food! I felt very thirsty right after the meal. I liked a wide variety of food selection on their menu. Pricing was reasonable. The service was good. I would probably come back to try their sweet and sour pork or chicken. Many Korean customers ordered them. They must be good!

I’ve been to Korean Chinese restaurants in Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary and Regina but hands down this is the best Korean Chinese restaurant in Canada.Their food is amazing. The black bean paste noodle is not too salty. Tangsooyook (sweet and sour pork)’s portion is so big that you have to take home!Love it.

I feel like the combo deals are pretty worthwhile; they serve a lot of food, even for the smallest combo split between four people. Dishes are also vegetarian upon request, but I think doing so isn’t getting your money’s worth. I have yet to try the dumplings 😛

This place was within walking distance from Lougheed Mall, so we decided to try it out. At 7pm, the place was full, but we didn’t have to wait long. The sea cucumber and seafood soup was very nice, and not salty, much to our liking. The jajiang noodle sauce was rich, also not too salty. The amount of onions was a little much to our taste. The deep fried pork was very good, and it was a very generous portion.

Deep fried dumplings are a must if you are in a group. There are about 10 dumplings to an order.Sweet and Sour Fried Pork comes with a lot for one dish. Plenty to go around the table. They serve the sauce and pork separately to ensure the pork remains crisp until you devour it with the sauce.Gan Ja Jang is noodles with a mixture of stir fried veggies, pork and black bean sauce. This is one of the specialty items here, plus some Koreans have said this is the best place to get Ja Jang Myun. foodology.ca
