The food at Rockwell’s is consistently inconsistent. It’s close to my in-law’s so they go there regularly. One night we went and the food was spot on. I had the seafood linguini and hubby and FIL both got the prime roast dinner. With both of them enjoying their dishes, my MIL decided we should all go back the following week. Well, bad idea. Hubby’s seafood linguini was a dry, sad mess of overlooked noodles with nil seafood. Both my MIL and FIL’s plates were 1/3 the size that the previous week’s. Even the sides of veggies had decreased. I’m not sure what happened. Maybe, they had a different chef working.

Recent dinners.. all GOOD !. I was a lunchtime regular at the Creekside location until it closed. I tried the North Road location once last fall and was not impressed. Nothing terribly wrong, just nowhere near as good as Creekside. This spring / summer I have been to North Road 4 times with 2 different dining partners. All three of us agree that this location has been able to provide the same quality food and service experience which we all expected and experienced at Creekside last year. Our main item of interest is anything having their pulled pork in it. We are on a quest for great pulled pork and agree that the Rockwells franchise can do the best job of it with flatbreads, nachos, sliders and full sandwiches. The crab cakes are excellent and the new popcorn shrimp appy is outstanding.I salute the corporate folks for getting this particular franchise back on track. Rockwells deserves to be a premier brand with a novel menu list of great food and good folks. Looking forward to more good meals in the future.

Disappointing!. Tiny over priced portions. Nothing special. Should have guessed it by th empty dining room. Find somewhere else to eat.

This should not be a gluten-free friendly restaurant as it lacked gluten-free item. They offered select salads, steak and rice dishes but couldn’t specify the ingredients.

Excellent Prime Rib – Have no clue what the regular menu is like in this place, but I went for their Weekend Prime Rib (available Friday – Sunday) and had an excellent home style slab of prime rib that satisfied deeply that beef craving I was having. It came with absolutely the best, creamiest cheesy mashed potatoes I have ever had, that melted in your mouth and combined with sauteed veggies and horseradish were totally fantastic. 10oz serving was $20.99 but I guarantee that the slice I got was at least 13-15oz, maybe they got generous since it was a slow night. This is not a fancy steak house, it’s a hotel bar/restaurant, so don’t expect fancy, but the server was very sweet, polite and attentive and the prime rib was great! I’m for sure going back next weekend!

THE Worst. Two of my friends and I went here for dinner since we were staying at the attached Best Western. If you like under cooked this is the place for you! I ordered . I ordered a blackend chicken club UNDER COOKED. Another friend ordered Chicken Salad UNDER COOKED and finally the Chicken Brushetta, you guessed it UNDER COOKED. This is the last time I will eat here since I don’t like life on the edge.
