Incredible service with a funny and charming waiter. The milkshakes were absolutely amazing and its like a double milkshake cause you get another cup to refill. I ordered buffalo chicken wings and the spices were delicious.
Bad service. 2014/08/19 I take my family to Danny’s eat diner. We come in at 10:05 PM after waiting until 11:10PM , I ask the Service man where’s my food. He just say oh I Lost your order form. What’s do you think? Do you want get this service? You have to think before you come this place.
Good dependable American menu, huge selection, interesting drinks. If you want gourmet or are picky about how your eggs are cooked… stay home! I find the service good, the place clean, the meals huge… the prices are typically Canadian (too high) but that’s a minor quibble.
Pleasantly surprised. We went for Sunday brunch today and were very pleasantly surprised. We got a table right away, food service was fast and efficient. To be honest, I wasn’t really expecting the food to be high quality, but my Prime Rib Eggs Benny was delicious. Best meal I’ve had anywhere in a long time. Eggs were cooking perfectly, prime rib was very tasty and the hollandaise was just right. I will definitely be going back.
Not so over easy eggs. Went for breakfast this past holiday Monday. Wasn’t our first or second choice but since the other places were closed we felt our options were limited. Normally we don’t have a problem with Denny’s, finding the food and service fairly good, but this time around the food wasn’t so good. I ordered 2 eggs over easy, turkey bacon, hashbrowns and sourdough toast. The hashbrowns were just barely warm, the toast was black around the edges, hard as a rock and not sourdough, the bacon was not even slightly crispy and the eggs were almost completely raw. I was willing to turn a blind eye to the other shortcomings, but the eggs being raw? Come on. When I cut into them the clear of the egg whites spilled out across my plate. That’s not over easy. That’s someone in the kitchen cutting corners and getting undercooked food out to the customer as quick as they can. I will say that my eggs were promptly replaced when we voiced our concerns and they were done correctly. Maybe it was just a bad day in the kitchen, but raw eggs are not something you should be slipping to your customers. It might be a while before I go back.
Ever dependable. We took advantage of their free grand slam for your birthday. With the $10 discount, we paid about $23 including tip. It is definitely the go to place for out of town guests b/c their food is consistent. Not gourmet, but who needs fancy all the time? Service is good, place is clean.
LATE NIGHT. Personally im a fan of any restaurant that stays open past 10 pm so dennys is AOK with me…not gourmet but decent for sure and not breaking the bank to get a meal so word up!
