I came here for high tea with several friends. It was a bit hard to find in an industrial area (it is a historical building so stuff went up around it)High quality loose leaf tea was available with a variety of optional milks and creams. The food that came with the high tea was absolutely amazing! Biscuits, scones, tarts and mini open-faced sandwiches were all fresh, delicious and amazing!Eating there also came with an optional tour of the mansion that has been repurposed as a museum. I would say this is a must see place for any tourists in Victoria!

O Reillys restaurant has been added to Pt. Ellice House. Lovely lunch options, beautiful salads. The small restaurant was added in the space occupied by the gift shop. The food is prepared on site by their own chef, and is a vast improvement over the tea on the lawn of the last few years. The servers were charming and attentive, and took the time to explain the changes at Pt. Ellice. After lunch the tour of the heritage house was really interesting, with the audio guide on iPods. A hidden gem lost in the industrial development of Bay Street. Awesome place to take visitors to see old Victoria.

Best Afternoon Tea. Point Ellice House is a worthwhile attraction for every visitor to Victoria. Everyone will enjoy the tour of this landmark. Afternoon tea on the croquet lawn is the best in Victoria for value. And if you have kids with you, you can relax and enjoy your teas, while the kids play croquet on the lawn.
