140 Dbl Jock Talk. My buddy and I went to Shark Club in Victoria on a Monday night. The place was filled with large screen TVs blaring load sports-there is no quiet spot in the bar. Buddy and I are not sports fans, but we do like Jackass. A beggar was pestering us and going from table to table. We were ignored by waitresses for half an hour and left. We will never return. There are 2 pubs in the Strathcona Hotel and Moon-Under-Water, that offer an exponentially more pleasant experience.
Whats not to love about this place, great food, lots of tvs, great pricing and gorgeous big breasted women…This is a must go if you are in Victoria
Went there in hope of watching the World Series with my buddies. They refused to turn it on and decided to give us the cold shoulder. Then took 30-40 minutes to bring us our drinks. (Wasn’t even that busy). Frustrating because it’s usually a solid place. Not today.
Meh. On Wing Wednesdays it’s super busy, they definitely need more servers. Food was decently priced, wings and beer are pretty cheap. My chicken burger was delicious. We did wait awhile for service though which was kind of annoying.
Delicious Mediterranean wrap for lunch today. I like that their side salad is more than just lettuce! Very fresh. It was super quiet for noon in a Saturday – maybe not a destination lunch place, but give it a try – the service was efficient and friendly.
Great Food. The food is always fast, fresh and delicious when I go for lunch. And they just got a new menu so I will definitely be excited to try something different. Service is usually ok, but skimpy outfits will never make me want to tip more. I actually feel sorry for the girls that have to wear that so called uniform.
The beer sucks. This is the third time I’ve been to the Shark Club on a Wed over the last six months and maybe my last…. the beer has to be the worst in town. Canadian on special but Its always flat! Again, I comment and order another one – got another flat, stale beer and today it was worse … there was a layer of warm beer on the top! Probably topped up with a pitcher of warm beer held behind the bar. Disgusting if you you are a beer lover.
