Not to be confused with Taste of Europe. I made the mistake once, never again. Top notch meat, bread and cheese. My mouth always waters for a Super Euro.
Such a great Deli / Resturant. I have been having my lunch at Touch of Europe for almost 2 years now. Let me tell you, this place is great! The owner is great to chat with, and I feel at home when I go here for lunch. I have been having the Euro Sub mostly and recommend it to my friends when they join me. The bread is always tasty and the meats are top quality!! I have tried a Euro Sub at other establishments in this city, and nothing compares! I think everyone in Victoria should come and try the Euro-Sub on Government street at Touch of Europe!
Melt in your Mouth Pierogi’s. I am new to the area and when I saw the sign for this place, I thought I would give it a try. First I came to check out the prices and menu. I was greeted by Chris, who took the time to speak with me about his business. I told him I would be back later. I arrived at closing and was going to return the next day, but the owner kindly invited me inside and I was served promptly. The dish itself was presented in a wonderful display of pierogi’s, a cooked sausage, and dollops of sour cream, mustard and sprinkles of dill. The dough was phenomenal and fresh, while the inside was stuffed perfectly with a fusion of mushrooms and cheese. As I ate, a man from off the streets came and I saw Chris give him a meal, which showed his compassion for those in need. A few days later, I returned again to try the massive Cabbage rolls, which were delicious. I am Ukrainian and Polish, and very picky about my traditional food. Chris made me feel welcome and well-fed. I will return to try more!
Best borscht in town. Good soup and subs – the borscht is particular is great. Yummy weekly specials like lasagna and chili. Service can be slow because it is a two person mom & pop operation but it is worth the wait for great homemade food at a good price.
Best quality deli food. I’ve been a customer for over 20 years and I have never been disappointed with my purchases…whether I eat in or buy food to take home. The deli meats and sausages are not only priced better than at a grocery deli, they are made naturally, without any preservatives. Great food that’s not expensive.
Fresh home made taste. Great mom and pop shop. They make excellent food fresh when ordered. It’s hard to find such good food at such great prices and they do take out. They are really nice people too. If you give it a try you’ll be back for sure. I will be.
