This little food court sushi stand had a tendency to be very hit and miss. One reason why I enjoy it is because I don’t have to socialize to get what I want, nor do I wait. Today was a good day for Umi; their sushi was fresh and well prepared, and extremely well priced for $10.45 for a yam tempura, California and Dynamite roll. The rice was perfectly sticky and not dried like usual premade sushi can be. Overall just another fast food kiosk in a busy downtown mall. At least they don’t hype themselves up to be any better.

Sushi roll full of bones…..yuck, will never eat there again
Great customer service! I was greeted with a smile and promptly served with everything I asked for. I was even asked chopstick or fork? I only wish the food was as good as the service. Only 4 smal pieces of sushi in bento box. And they were warm an skin on shellfish on dynamite roll was still on. And this is the first place I’ve had broccoli tempura.odd. The rice for chicken teryaki was mushy-a bit over cooked and they put teryaki sauce on my tempura instead of offering tempura dipping sauce. So the meal was disappointing. I probably won’t order from there again. Not a bento box anyways.
