Great food!. I am also en ex-employee of the Colwood Wendy’s (I quit there back in 2010). The food is very fresh since the chicken has a 1 hour hold time, meat has a 7 minute hold time, and fries have a 3 minute hold time. The value is decent as well, especially since recently the prices dropped down. You have to realize that the drive-through people are on a timer, and the slower you are, the slower they are when typing the order.
I am a Wendy’s worker, so I thought I’d post something. Maybe some of our pick up window workers are grumpy, but how would you feel if you had to deal with grumpy people for 8 hours straight? No much better I assume. But other then that, I love the food, and no, I’m not saying that as an employee, I’m saying it as a customer. Even the days I don’t work I stop in and get a baconator, it may not be the best bacon in the world, but still, coupled with the beef of the patty, and our new butter toasted buns… It’s the most delicious meal I eat all week. Next to that, our fries are delicious too, never too much, nor too little salt and always cooked to the right crispness. And to add to those good factors, we have our multitude of other choices for sides, such as ; salads, baked potato, or chili. The baked potato has a number of different toppings. Also, at wendy’s, you can ask for any condiment to be taken off, added or have extra, sometimes if it’s bacon, or a patty it will cost extra, but not too much. And our patties couldn’t be fresher, we have fresh never frozen beef, fresh every day, and every morning all of our tomatoes and other condiments are chopped in store at the location they are sold. And at times Wendy’s service can be rough, but most of the time we won’t be rude unless you are towards us. So, come in, enjoy, and thank you for reading this.
Worst Drive through experience ever. I was there around 5:00pm Jan 16,2011. The drive through attendant working at this time was very rude. He kept cutting me off throughout my order and because of this he messed up my order. When I usually go there the service is fine but this time I was surprised that such a grumpy drive through attendant would treat people so rudely. I could understand if they were in a rush, but the inside restaurant was empty and in the drive through there was only one car behind mine. I’m assuming the guy taking orders on drive through must have been in a rush to go home or on his break. Service like this should not be acceptable at anytime. I wont be eating there again.
