My husband and myself just recently moved to Port Moody! We had tried a few other pubs in the area, and this is defiantly going to be our local pub. We have had great service and liked everything we have tried so far on there menu. Good price, and I love the fire place table it can be a get little romantic sitting there.
A bit smokey. We used to like this place a lot better before they renovated it, they took away that old English pub charm. The smoke blows you away when you walk in, coming from the smokers on the patio. The crowd is pretty mixed, although there is some strange characters that lounge on the patio. The food used to be better, we don’t know what happened ,and the beer specials are not to great anymore, we’ve found better deals at other local pubs. We do still however like this little pub, it has a certain vibe to from the locals ,and we still make the drive out from Burnaby. But for heavens sake, I wish the waitress’s would stop with the tacky high fives,probably pushed by management ,it’s very corny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
