We visited Chemainus on our drive to Victoria, BC. The town is known for its wall murals. There are about 80 of them. There are many small art galleries, curio galleries, and several restaurants. It’s a nice little town requiring a very short visit.
It is well worth a couple of hours in Chemainus to look at the 42 murals, sculptures and visit the local bakeries and eateries. Stunning murals that will give you a sense of the rich history of the region.
