Been many times and have always been disappointed, I would say it is a sub par restaurant. Too many options, I wish they would cook what their good at, like the pizza.
My wife and I went to this location with 2 friends for dinner last week. I like the feel of the place as it is relaxing and staff are adequately friendly. I ordered a double bacon burger with aged cheddar called the Bozzini Burger and it was very good. My wife’s tortellini dish was not as impressive however. The meat sauce was warm and tasty while the tortellini was cold, not cold as in it was left sitting to cool before adding the sauce, I mean refrigerator cold. I would go back for the same burger but I’d stay clear of the tortellini.Edit: November 2018, came here with friends after a movie and everything was fantastic. Food was great, server was extremely attentive, and the ambience was cozy. Definitely a Chilliwack favourite.
Went there hoping for a nice birthday dinner, but was disappointed. The restaurant was mostly empty on a Tuesday, but was asked if I had a reservation. The service was virtually non-existent, we had to ask multiple times for things like cutlery. The food took a long time to come, especially because it was quiet. And when it did come my New York strip steak was over cooked and was the thinnest piece or meat I have ever seen. It had no seasoning on it and was virtually tasteless. A real disappointment all around for a restaurant that used to have a good reputation. Will not be returning again.
Good pasta, insulting management. I ordered a steak and spaghetti medium rare, it came out overcooked and the waitress was nice enough to take it back. Shortly after, The manager came to argue with me that the steak was cooked properly. She acted as if I didn’t know what I was talking about and spoke to me in a condescending manner. For her to make a scene in her own restaurant was unprofessional and embarrassing. It was unfortunate, because my table was enjoying their food and the dinner became extremely unpleasant after the incident.
Awesome food, service, and atmosphere. I really enjoy this restaurant. the food is great with many selections and variety. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is cozy.30 Dec, 2014Thumbs up!. Great food and service. There are lots of menu choices and affordable.
French Onion Soup. Savoury beef broth with French bread and baked cheese on top. Perfect for dipping garlic toast in as well!
Date night at Bozzini’s. My husband and I went to a Bozzinis last night for a great meal and a concert so intimate if felt like you were sitting around at someones house party except the sound was much better. I am pumped about two things today. The first, that we have a Canadian folksinger like Jon Brooks on the scene (www.jonbrooks.ca) in 2014. This guy was born in 1968, so I have a good decade on him but he reminded me of the best of the folksingers of old. He was funny and irreverent and his lyrics were intelligent. I was sitting close enough to appreciate the skill of his guitar playing. That he could deliver this having flown from that morning from Toronto to Calgary to Kelowna and driven to Chilliwack in time for an 8:00 performance and still wax poetic about the role of the song-writer in the world was inspiring after a week of bookkeeping. The second thing I am pumped about is Bozzinis (http://bozzinisrestaurant.com) – the upper room and Manos enthusiasm about bringing music we might not otherwise hear were it not for a small-scale venue like this. Bozzinis is a wonderful next-generation business story. The upper room opened at 8:00. We had a great Bozzinis meal (yes, Lynne. I had the baked tortellini alfredo) some nice wine, and a great concert starting at 9:30. Tickets $15. Nobody is getting rich on that kind of ticket price but it is getting the music out there in the nicest possible way now that I am too old to troll sketchy bars for music. Mano is bringing music to town that we might otherwise never bump into. And reminds us gently that music is important in the world, even now that we are no longer a kid willing to blow a whole allowance on a new 45, or save for a month to see a concert where we dance in the aisles with our friends. Check it out. And tell your friends.
