Large, open, modern rustic atmosphere. A sophisticated space with two sides: the dining restaurant and bar lounge. It was busy when we arrived on a Saturday evening including many special occasion tables. Menu is Italian cuisine made in-house. Ordered pizza to share as appy and crust and toppings were both good. Pasta for entree and although rich and flavourful, we found prices tad high. Service was friendly and attentive. A nice classy place to visit in Chiliwack.

My husband & I had been to Frankies a few times over the past couple years, and both the food and service were always good.That is…until, Wednesday April 19, 2017. My daughter and son-in-law and their baby and teenaged son were visiting from Alberta for Easter week. They, along with my husband & myself all went to Frankie’s Restaurant as a celebration to mark the end of a wonderful visit. At the restaurant that night, we all felt rushed by the staff. The server was standing nearby on her cell phone! The appetizer came so quickly we wondered if the kitchen even had time to look at the order. My son-in-law and I shared the calamari appetizer and each ordered the lamb dinner. Later that night, both of us became violently ill with food poisoning! The rest of our group all had milder discomfort & diarrhea, perhaps from sharing some of the appie & a bite or two of our lamb!? We couldn’t all have been more disappointed in both the service and the food on that evening!
