Decent soup and sandwich special for $8.49 Parmesan crusted sourdough with chicken salad and soup, pretty darn good. Pretty surprising characters and Jimmy J’s share a kitchen.
Four of us had dinner here tonight and can’t say enough good about this restaurant. Nice ambience with music low enough to allow talking, great service and good food (three of us took some home). Will we go back? In a heartbeat!
I wish this operator would open a restaurant in my home town!!!!. Well i will say this, i am a Red seal chef of 30 yrs, who is picky about the quality of food when i eat out , but i was impressed with this place. For starters while waiting for a table, the clients who had just eaten and paid thier bill commented to us on how great the food and service was at this place!! There were 6 of us and we were all seated promptly, and got great service!!! The food was top notch, the the modern decore very nice.. The bill was inexpensive, and i live in Alberta but will stop here anytime i am in the lower mainland, almost constitutes a destination holiday just to dine here !!!!
Poor food and poor customer service. My 9 co workers and I came in for lunch on Friday May 8. We have eaten here many times and usually it has been yummy.Today, The taco salad had wilted lettuce, no guacamole and too much celery in it. When I told the waitress, she said ‘ oh sorry’ and continued to deal with other customersI called to speak to the manager about an hour later ( I could not wait at Jimmy’s….we had to go back to work), I was told tnat I should have just talked to my server at the time. I said I did and when I tried to explain my issue, the staff cut me off curtly and said she would tell tne Manager.The food was not good and the servers were rude 🙁
Quick to seat us and take our orders, an hour later they tell us they have no fish…. An hour!! Where is my food already, the place was half empty. And when it does finally come, under cooked eggs and cold bacon, sausage.
Jimmy J’s Grill Is a disapointment. Terriblly slow service. An hour to get our order. This restaurant ran out of french fries at 1:00 pm on a friday afternoon.We won’t be going back again.
