    I Can’t believe people still eat there. It is indeed a very sad thing that the only thing consitant about the McDonald’s restaurant here in downtown Chilliwack is that it is consistantly bad every day. This review only comes after years of consistantly bad meals. Now, im not the type of person that complains a lot, but after recieving an egg mc muffin with a finger nail in it( that actually made it in my mouth btw) I thought I’d lay off this place for a good long while. About five or so years go by and I smell the fries as I’m going over the overpass and I’m like why not? I’m SURE they must’ve pulled up there sox since then, but nope. I won’t get into what I found this time, but I will say i WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN. sorry mr. Crock. RIP

    I only get McDonald’s once or twice a month as it’s so unhealthy- & each time me & my boyfriend go they screw up our orders. I would’t dare go here for breakfast. I suggest to always check the bag before driving off. However, upon returning with a mix up, they’re never rude about it or snobby- I always get an apology. I find the service polite, but the occasional screw up can be annoying. I ordered a salad with grilled chicken once, got back to work & the chicken wasn’t added…. Seriously? I didn’t bother complaining. All in all, if you have a large order, make sure to double check.

The daytime service has improved because now all the crappy employees and all the crappy managers work at night. Every time I go there after work I can’t order, sometimes for as long as 15 minutes, because they are rebooting the system. Half the time they don’t even apologize for the inconvenience. Seeing how I eat there almost every day and this happens to me about 5 times a week, I think they should at least give me something. Not just that, they keep getting my orders wrong. And whoever is working back there is touching the paddies with their hands and then touching the buns because the buns are so covered in grease they might as well stick them in the deep frying. Oh, wait, that would make the plastic they keep telling me is a hamburger actually taste better. Also, don’t ever, ever, ever under any circumstances take the right lane at the drive through, especially not if it’s busy. They will serve like 3 or 4 cars in the left lane before they get to you. Overall, half the time I go there I end up leaving with a bad taste in my mouth…oh, wait, that’s their food!

    My visit. I would like to visit this place more. But I am tired to have to get through all the trash that gets free refills on coffee, and soda. A lot are legit, but most get free refills based on an empty cup they pull out of the garbage. Stop being politicaly corect, and stop the garbage from getting freebies.

    The service has improved, and so has the food.. [It appears that my Nov 2012 visit has someone writing a review March 2013 throwing accusations at my review. After 4 to 5 months pass, situations can change. It was irresponsible for him to do that, but that’s his option].As of Nov 2012 this was my experience:This McDonalds use to be notorious for getting the orders wrong, poor staff attitude, slow service, and things like that..We have noticed a change for the better over the last 6 months, where we don’t mind going through drive-thru. Management must have been doing something right lately. :)My single complaint is not about the restaurant itself – it is more about McDonalds product in general.The Big Mac was always their flagship product, the most notorious burger, that soon became their identity.This McDonalds always seems to cheapen the size of the burger by giving less lettuce (which is the cheapest ingredient), which makes it look smaller than it ought to be.. I use to be a manager of McDonalds myself in the early 90’s, so it is easy for me to spot the difference. Their cheese is 1/2 as thin as it use to be, so don’t be afraid of ordering a double Big Mac. What they should be advertising is not a Double Mac, just a Genuine Big Mac, but c’est la vie. Similarily, when you order a Big Mac, do yourself a favor, and ask for extra lettuce, it makes a big difference, not only to the sandwich size, but the overall taste. A true Big Mac shouldn’t be eaten while you are driving anyway – wait until you get home, incase you are worried about a mess. There was a period there where they continually got our orders wrong, the food was assembled substandard, and the like. What we ordered was never in the bag 100%, that sort of thing. Not anymore. Whatever they’ve done, or whomever they have put in charge. Things are different now.This McDonalds is functioning like a real franchise location, and we’ve been pleased lately as we go through drive-thru. This is one McDonalds that does appear to care about their quality, service and cleanliness, so hats off to the changes that’ve made in training, supervision or staff.It’s operating exactly what McDonalds should be like, so we’ll definately visit them again.
