Val is back!!. Val had sold out and the place was then called Rock ‘n Bowl diner. So the comments from the summer of 2012 are not for Val’s. Val took over again in the fall of 2013 and the place is once again a great place to go. Like clam chowder? You won’t find a better one than at Val’s – but it is only served Friday’s and don’t be late as she will sell out. Coffee is great.
This place stinks!. If this is the one near the bowling alley-it stinks like horrible grease! (Like they never clean their fryers! )
My girlfriend and I absolutely have to go to Vals once a month for smokies and the best fries and poutine in town. She does some pretty mean homemade soups and when she has carrot cake your in for a treat. Great 50’s theme going on an even better when she’s got the oldies playing!
