Food is very affordable and good value for what you get. It's nothing amazing but it does the job when you're looking for something fast but filling.…

Thought we’d give it a shot…. My wife and I stopped in after she ran the 1/2 Marathon on Saturday night. We are from out of town, so we hadn’t heard of this place. It looked pretty cool so we went in. Very friendly staff. Quick service. My wife had a salad and I had the fish and chips. Both were fantastic. We will certainly stop in next time we’re in town.
We are on vacation and stopped here for a drink on the patio. It was happy hour with 1/2 price appetizers so we decided to get some munchies. The service was extremely fast and our food was delicious. The fish tacos were extremely good, very fresh and tasty. I recommend this little gem!!
Did not like the food, we tried 2 different sandwiches, Mac and Cheese and Poutine, everything was tasteless. Also a lot of drunk people walking around and I really did not feel comfortable seating outside.
Spinach salad with sauted onions and mushrooms was very tasty but way too small for the price ( $12.49). It was more like app size. The fish and chips were very good though, according to my friends who are now full.
Nice enough staff, good location but lower then average food and I don’t think they clean their beer lines often
Went to 131 Water Kitchen and Bar for a bite to eat and a few drinks. The menu was limited to start with as we only wanted an appetizer with our drinks. We ordered nachos and a drink. The food arrived incredibly quickly on a small plastic tray and what appeared to newspaper. No napkins, no salsa, and no sour cream. All for $12. We asked for condiments and the waitress was able to produce a .70 small cup of salsa. No sour cream in the restaurant apperently. We did complain and the manager ( I think) gave us our meal and drinks for free and explained that they have had lots of complaints about the nachos. I wish I had known that before we ordered.
I so want to like this place! Great location, lovely servers, wonderful patio. But: the food consistently sucks. Looks stodgy and lumpy, is flavorless. They ruin old classics and there seems to be no thought to how to construct a meal…. I had a wonderful soup. Once. And since then, every time I go back I have awful food and wonder why I went back. Please, please, improve the food do that I can enjoy it and bring my friends and clients there!
