We arrived at 3pm and all the cats were zonked out for their kitty naps. Eventually a couple of them woke up and it was by far the best experience ever! I would agree with most of the reviews below, your cat experience is definitely a hit or miss, but you won’t know unless you try! Beverage choices are pretty standard with a selection of cute goodies (didn’t try them, but I assume they look better than they taste).
A cafe that specializes in more a niche market of cats as the main attraction. I didn’t try any of the food/bakery, but drink wise, the tea what i got is earl grey which is okay, other than that the attraction of cats, are definitely something different from other cafe that i’ve visited. definitely something different, a good date place and you’ll need to book it online. mangkr.wordpress.com
As a crazy cat lady, I love Catfe. And I like their idea of helping with the kitty adoption process. As a picky eater, I feel that Catfe don’t have much to offer, Except a small selection of kitty macaron or cookies.
OMG I LOVE CATS. The desserts they were offering were super cute, but not the best tasting. I was also a little disappointed that there weren’t as many cats as I was expecting. The overall experience was fun because there was one cat that clung to me every moment of it. I would just hope it would have lasted a little longer.
Cats hate me for some reason lol. I don’t know what it is. Perhaps it’s the dumb look on my face, the smell of dog on me, my outfits, I dunno, they just hsss at me. Yes, my girlfriend brought me here and I got nervous lol.Its a fantastic concept for this cafe to work closely with the spca. Very clean, modern, good energy. The staff is amazing and friendly. The pastries were alright but nothing memorable, along with their coffees. But that’s ok. What’s important is the bigger picture, adopting a cat.
So many bad reviews did everyone visiting forget that they were visiting cats?Catfe is located on the second level of the international village mall, a little ways away from the Stadium/Chinatown Station. The Catfe works along side the SPCA, having the option to hang out and enjoy the quiet atmosphere with furry friends or look into adopting one! Obviously since its an animal cafe, with real animals, theres a max of 15 guests allowed in, switching out every hour. Reservations are required, though they do leave 6 spaces open each hour for walk ins.We called in to check for a space, and the lady we were speaking to was very friendly and patient in explaining how their reservations work. *Walk in spaces can only be held once you have checked in, in person.$5 to go in if you purchase something from the cafe end, and $8 dollars if you want to go in without buying anything. The memorabilia is pretty pricey to be honest. I grabbed a coffee bug for $15 and a cat pouch for $6.50 -Same things could be bought for a much cheaper price elsewhere-but since Im there for the experience, I didnt mind.We were there at 8pm, and they had 15 cats there that day. 2 of them were awake and walking around, while the rest were either glaring at you from afar or …sleeping. The space alone is perfect for taking pictures, bright lighting and cute decor. The ambiance was quite calming and quiet, there are tables along with benches. A couple books and board games were on the tables as well.Great concept, interior was beautiful, the staff were friendly and energetic. Though if you came to play with cats, its a hit or miss.
