London pub has really slow service, A Really boring menu and atmosphere. And is super Overpriced. We need a decent pub south of Hastings!!!!
Pub food out of a box. Aside from picking up some off sales in a pinch, I can’t think of a reason to go back with the other options on the block and I live 3 minutes away.
I have been here a couple times in the past. It was decent. Typical pub food. I like the dart boards; however, last night I went there for a bite to eat and they would not serve me unless I let them hang onto my credit card or ID/bank card while I was there. I thought this was kind of an insulting gesture to be made by a restaurant. I have never had this happen before. I understand their establishment is in a sort of seedy area, but they knew that when they invested in it. I don’t think it’s right for a restaurant to put the risks of doing business on their customers shoulders. I think if they can’t handle owning a business then they should just go work for someone else. I didn’t appreciate being labeled a potential thief upon sitting at their table. For that reason I will never come back. If you don’t mind that though, then this is a decent place otherwise.
Not bad for outskirt of Chinatown. Came here for a PPV fight recently, great place. Menu could be bit bigger and better. Variety is lacking. Pretty Good Service, Crowd was good as we were there for a boxing match. Would come back =)
A pub even the English won’t love…. Went here with a group of brits who wanted to enjoy the atmosphere of a real British Pub. unfortunately, this one fell short. Having Fish and Chips and Bangers and Mash with English Flags scattered throughout the place does not an English pub make. Although one can’t really have particularly high expectations for English food, the choices here were even more boring than you would expect.There is one positive, they do have a large selection of imported draft beer. The rest of the place needs work.
The food is great. Service can be hit and miss…sometimes it’s great, other times its snobby. It’s very nice inside and there’s nice atmosphere.
