I came here to quench my thirst, and because I always passed by this place without giving it a chance. This place is pretty pricey; they range from about $8-$12 or so? The one I got was $12, and it was very lightly sweetened (had alkaline water, vanilla, cinnamon, chia seeds, and other stuff).I will say that the jar is pretty, and I kept it :3 I didn’t hate it; I think some juices are bitter, and some people get used to it. I think if you’re a juice fan, you should give it a shot (but I’m not really a juice fan, haha). Also, the staff were polite and answered my questions respectfully.
I’ve been to Nectar four times – the last three times, out of sheer optimism. The place is absolutely beautiful and their branding is fantastic. But really wasn’t blown away by the juices I tried. Isn’t juice supposed to taste good? Admittedly, I probably chose the more adventurous or less conventional options on the menu, but I struggled to finish most of them. Perhaps one of those places that caters more to the health-conscious than the flavour-conscious?
Welcome to the neighborhood Nectar! Have been hooked on Nectar since our company introduced fresh juice 2 years ago. Every juice is carefully crafted, taking into account the benefits to me. I can be energized in the morning and calmed in the evening maxing out the nutrients I need. I have tried other local juicing options – the Truck, Glory, & Whole Foods and they just don’t compare.
So happy to finally have Nectar in Gastown!!! Phenomenal juices, smoothies, and milks in a beautiful space. Most importantly: the staff are incredible and the energy is fantastic. Love coming in for a morning boost or an afternoon pick me up. You must visit Nectar!!! Healthy never tasted or looked so good!
