Very last time I visit this brewery. Their pizza is mediocre and extremely overpriced. Four cans of 4.7 % regular pale ale sells at $18 and change tallies. This company has seen the last of me and all my Maker friends in the neighbourhood. This is gentrification at its worst in this neighbourhood. So many better breweries to choose from within a 5 minute walk. SEE YA!!!
Strathcona Beer Company as the name suggests is located in the Strathcona neighbourhood. At the corner of 895 E Hastings and Campbell Ave is a 12,000 sqft brewery complete with ample seating (long communal tables and diner booths), a pizza station and even a growler takeout area. The windows around the brewery slides open fully for that breezy summer’s air to flow through.Four different types of beerBelgian AleKolsch / Lemon RadlerIndia Session AleIndia Pale AleMy favorite was the smooth Strathcona Gold and the crisp Kolsch.It’s only been a few weeks since Strathcona Beer Company has opened, but everything seems promising.
