Vintage vibes, modern eats. Stumbled upon this place in Summer during an evening stroll in Yaletown. We were seated straight away with a table inside as the patio was full with people catching the Summer rays during happy hour. Our waitress was easy going & attentive. We ordered the wings with the sticky maple bacon flavour & ranch dressing. Made for a messy time but worth it. There was still some crispiness despite being lathered in the sweet maple bacon sauce. Slightly smoky & salty. The potato bravas were amazing, the sauce was sweet which was a great company to the salty fried potato pieces. The house made veggie burger was the best vegetarian burger Ive ever had. It was like a falafel like patty was lifted & given more life. The sweet tangy red onion marmalade made it phenomenal. My recommendation- definitely the house made veggie burger; makes eating like a vegetarian look easy plus its served with fries.

We came here to watch the NHL playoffs, they had 2 big projector screens and the volume turned right up so I was happy. I wish they had better drink specials tho, it costs a fortune to drink here. Also the chicken wings were super dry and barely room temp. Maybe I’ll come back for an early game during happy hour and skip the food.
Pub type atmosphere with a pub style menu. You can order a from a large variety of beers on the menu. Had a order of wings, they were disappointing for wings and I thought I was playing it safe . The beer in my opinion was not cold enough. I don’t think I’ll make a return visit here and wouldn’t recommend this place for food and drink. However it is a busy bar if you are looking to hang out in a social type atmosphere.
I was there on Fri, July 29. I was served by a short brunette caucasian girl (just description. not a racist). We were there around 5:30 so I ordered Happy hour beer ($7 beer for $5) and then I head to come outside to talk to my coworker who was leaving the bar.Came back around 5:50 and my coworker told me the drink I want was out of order and didn’t come out.I wait for the server who cam exactly at 6 pm and she said I can’t get the happy hour price because I am 1 min late.I said it is not my fault that the drink didn’t come out. She said still I can’t get happy hour. The manager came and said the same thing.I was furious but just had to order something at regular price. It’s not I am cheap for $2. I felt being treated unfairly and unpleasantly even though nothing was a fault of mine. I ordered a service they didn’t have and they didn’t make it up for me being 1 min late.Very poor service and very poor customer relationship of the manager.
UP – Nice open bar with a ton of beer selection. Decent location if you’re trekking around on foot. Pinball – New and old titles in good working order.DOWN – Service was pretty slow and unorganized. While my burger was pretty decent, the McDonald’s style fries were terrible. You can upgrade them for $2, but I’m not sure if you get real fries or just a sprinkle of garlic spices.OUT – I think if I were to go back it would just be a for a beer and pinball.
Went there for the late night scene on sat the 20th of Feb. The DJ was horrible, he didn’t play more than 30 sec of a song and could not mix them together. Also, he was fairly hostile to anyone making requests. For a 12 dollar cover, you should be able to make requests and hear more than 30 secs of a song……
