Update: December 30 2017My girlfriend and I needed some specialty cheeses for our checutrie board. We we going to cook at a friend house warming, and her condo is close by here.Again, line up at the cashier is long and slow. They are trained very poorly here. I didn’t have the heart to walk out with free food, when I saw 2 people did it out of frustration. The customer service here is terrible… I’ve had occasions where the line up gets so long and the other cashier looks the other way while preparing food. I ordered the jambalaya and it was rancite. I’ve had alot of jambalaya before and this one just didn’t satisfy my hunger. Just a heads up for you folks.
Decent food, hot food varies by a bit everyday, which is nice. There’s always samples of desserts in the bakery area, satisfies that sweet tooth. Although everything is a little pricey for lunch, but there really aren’t much to choose from in the area.
Terrible customer service! I’m not the only one who’s been ignored, disregarded and finally endured 5 mins of the clerk trying to ring in three menu items only to find the order is wrong! Seriously? Also, they need to label what’s in their soups etc. Medicore sandwiches and chai, too. Skip this place and go to Whole Foods on Cambie for an infinitely superior experience.
