in my opinion the key to good donair is in the sauces, and this place has it well figured out! was really missing Mediterranean Donair after moving away from Burnaby but this place has helped fill the donair-shaped hole in my heart.
This was my ONE and ONLY bubble-tea-place to go when I used to live in langley. And my dearest friend Matt was so kind and friendly that he gave me free bubble tea on Christmas Eve. Recently, I tried the bubble that new owner made, and it tasted so bad……….I was so sad because I felt that this store probably not going to run well as much as it used to be. I really missed Matt so much and those memories when he was running this store. Hoped they could’ve trained better and they should’ve learned not only how to make the donair or bubble tea, but running the business well like Matt did. Not going to revisit unless Matt comes back.
We only took two bites – had a weird taste and too much sauce – just everywhere, and meat was cold, worst donair ever.. so Gross … Not coming here again .. Would not recommend this place
used to go over here when i lived nearby then i moved and never came back. then now that i’m always around this area, tried this place again and i must say the donair taste decent, quick meal to go, but definitely not the best, there’s some work needs to be done but for the area i think it’s definitely one of the better places to go.*update the chicken is actually quite decent. mangkr.wordpress.com
The Donair Hut has new owners and it is a shame. The previous owners food was awesome. From Donairs to his own greek/Asian fusion were great. His service was excellent. The new food is very basic donair…you can get it just about anywhere. Honestly this gem is no longer.
Good selection and service – tasty too! Only drawback is that the tables are all 2-seaters so to go with a group means you have to split up, as there is not enough room to bunch together tables.

Owner is very friendly and helpful too!Update: Went back tonight… Twice in less than a week and it was once again excellent. There were quite a few people there… So it’s no longer a hidden gem. I think we’ll be regulars for now on.Update #2 – Went back in June 2016 and I was sad to learn that there are new owners. The donairs were alright, but definitely not the same as before. The service was great – but the unique taste that there was before is gone.
