Food was great, however I had a bad experience with one of the servers. I came in for the lunch and the server had said I was charged for the regular entree. The server did not ask if I wanted the lunch special or the entree size. She told me that she was unable to adjust the price because we already ate it. When she came to pick up our dishes she dropped the dirty dishes on me.

I saw this place from the corner of my eye in Langley. I was drawn to the Lao cuisine. Very friendly staff. I tried some food I had not tried before. I would go again. I think I may even go today!

This is authentic Lao food. Everything I ordered was made well with quality ingredients. It wasn’t toned down for a more western taste, it was very authentic. Of course you can ask for certain ingredients / sauces to be omitted if you aren’t into unfamiliar tastes (crab paste, fermented fish sauce). The Thai iced green tea was amazing like other reviews mentioned. Really good experience overall. Super excited that they had khao piak sen, sai gok, and lao jerky. The beef laap was so so good. I hope they add khao soi to the menu some day.

This place is LEGIT! If I could rate it higher than 5.0, I would! My girlfriend, who is Laotian, told me about this place and she raved about it… the perfect judge to determine it’s authenticity!I grew up eating Laos food and I quite often miss my mom and grandma’s homemade Laotian dishes. Finally a place to go if I’m having cravings!Judging from my pictures, you can tell I’ve tried many of their dishes. I’ve been there several times and attempt to try something new. I have yet to be disappointed.

Absolutely the best Thai/Lao cooking in the Lower Mainland. Flavours full, spicy and food fresh. Couldn’t have been more pleased with all the dishes we shared. Highly recommend.

Excellent Laotian/Thai restaurant in downtown Langley. The Laotian family is very welcoming and makes both Laotian and Thai dishes. The green curry and the pad thai were very good and the tom yong was spectacular. The waitress suggests trying one of the Laos specialities such as larb (minced meat with sticky rice), nem khao (pickled pork in lettuce wrap), moka gai (marinated chicken steamed in a banana leaf) or kao poon (vermicelli rice noodles with chicken in a coconut curry sauce). questamiamilano.com
