Worst buffet ever!!! I’ve never had such a terrible experience before. It’s a Christmas buffet supposedly with more selection than usual. Seafood platter ended up to be Fish only! No prawns, no crab no mussels…fish! And then there were 2 other fish hot selections. No drinks were included and extra $9 if you wanted dessert. Never going back again!
Kudos to the dessert staff. A group of us went for brunch and it was outstanding, something for each and everyone, even carb loathers.and the dessert tables are as good as they look.sad though that you get the feeling from the reviews that it is hit and miss.
Poor customer service. I had made reservations for 25 for my husbands birthday and specifically asked of I can use entertainment coupon. When it came to settling the bill, our server went to someone else. When I went to pay she refused me and called the manager who took 25 Minutes to actually come. He went on to say this is a common problem and said it’s an issue to take up with entertainment book. I paid the full priceAnother guest went to pay and the server honoured her ticket. First class setting, furniture and fittings. Upper class clientele. Good food within the limitations of a buffet format. Prices are $25 per person, less if you skip dessert, more if you add coffee,tea etc. Staff is what you would expect as tips are poor in buffets. We went to the seafood buffet. I would go again but on the Prime Rib night.
Lisa Jacobson. We attended the Santa Brunch on Dec.1 for the 12:30 pm seating. My parents invited the whole family. 18 of us had a wonderful time. Santa & Mrs.Claus had the best, newest costumes I have ever seen. Wow! My nieces enjoyed face painting, decorating gingerbread men, and the children’s food table + turkey with stuffing. Us adults enjoyed going out to see Santa arrive in the helicopter with the children. The abundance of hot & fresh food was amazing. Something for everyone’s pallet. A big thank-you to Gina of Newlands for making our day special. Thanks Mom & Dad (Roy & Dixie) for inviting us & toasting the beginning of the holidays with champagne & o.j. at this memorable brunch. We have been going to the Christmas brunch for several years and this year I was very disappointed in the service the cost and the ambiance. While the cost rose they neglected to say that coffee and juice was no longer included in the brunch cost of $30.00 plus taxes and a beverage it was $40.00 a person. Which is ridiculously high. The food was average and the service if that’s what you could call it was terrible. We had ordered a glass of wine and it took over 30 min, to get it. I would NOT recommend the Christmas Brunch it failed on every level. 🙁
