  Atmosphere was very authentic, staff is friendly but their food made me quite ill. Seems like they do not keep their fish very cold. They load you up on Wasabi but that didn’t seem to help. It tastes pretty good overall but not at all cold. In fact it was warm, and sushi should not be warm. I would warn against going here unless they fix this issue. Nobody was there when I went and I was there for the dinner hour, goes to show…

  Just moved in near by and wanted sushi. Decided to check Seh-Mi out. Place is pretty big, got seated quickly. The waitress that took our order didn’t write anything down and had to come back and ask to repeat it. The sushi itself was great. I really enjoyed it. I like when restaurant deep fry their prawn for the dynamite roll to ordet, instead of having it predone shows they care about quality of their food. I’ll for sure try it again.

  Food is good but not great. They have great deals and a good selection. Service is okay but a little slow. A decent place to go for lunch, but I would go out of my way to ear here.

  Good lunch box. Have been going here for a few years. I have a favorite for lunch. Lunch box B. fresh salad, five pieces tempura ( three veggies two prawns ) chicken teriyaki on bean sprouts ,cabbage, carrots. fresh mound of steamed rice, six peices of sashimi. comes with miso soup and tea. 9. 95

  Used to eat here a couple times a month and the sushi was ok. Nothing amazing but it satisfied my hunger when I forgot my lunch at work. They recently renovated and new owners/management took over in the last week or so. Ordered take out Monday at 6pm. Dynamite roll, deep fried California roll, yam tempura roll NO sesame seeds and Wild avocado roll NO sesame seeds. I arrive to pick up my food and the lady tells me she put sesame seeds on it all, so I said that isn’t what I wanted, she said ‘oh well’ so I explain I’m intolerant to sesame seeds and would rather not have and she didn’t say anything. Fine, I guess I’ll scrape then off I exclaim. So I’m paying and didn’t tip (obviously) and she scoffs at me. I then asked for extra soya sauce and she just threw 1 packet on the counter and walks into the back. Ummmm okay. So at this point I am pretty upset and already decided I will never return here. Then I get home to enjoy my sushi with my partner and I get one bit into the yam tempura roll and there’s a ROCK yes a ROCK in it. I almost broke my tooth! I called to complain but was ignored and hung up on. I will never return again and will be telling my friends and family to never eat here again. I’m absolutely appalled at the customer service here. I hope this place goes under. So many better sushi restaurants around town.

  Great place. Probably the best that I know. I don’t know that many sushi places, but I think I can say they are one of the better ones for sure. Fresh fish, fast service and clean. The lunch boxes had big portions for its price, with good sashimi and some good teriyaki. My brother got a dinner bento because he’s a big eater, and the portions there were really good too. It was pretty similar to my box except bigger. It also had rolls that were well made. They served our food quick, and everything looked clean. Overall, the one sushi place that I would go back to for a family dinner.
