This cozy little place is run by a Korean couple. It has a fireplace, baked goods, comfortable chairs, just the sort of things you’d expect in a cafe. There are a few food items on the menu, and the paninis are terrific. What I didn’t like was that the soup wasn’t ready when I got there. If the soup is a lunchtime item, why don’t they say so in the menu? At least it’s a good place to come in from the cold.

Used to be good. The time was when Beans & Leaves was one of the best coffee shops in Abbotsford (and we have a lot of them). But over the last few years the level of service and the quality of beverages has gone steadily down. I’m not sure why, but it’s to the point where I’m more likely to go to a Starbucks than here.
