This place used to be a great AYCE sushi place. Sadly, after they changed owners the food has gone downhill. They removed several of the chef special rolls from the ayce menu, including one of my favorites the ‘vancouver’. The chef special rolls have become mostly rice. The sashimi pieces, which are limited, have become very small, what used to be one piece is now 3 pieces. I understand that costs increase over time, but I would rather pay more, than have subpar food. Very disappointing.
I liked this place – friendly staff and price is also good.I was trying beef tryaki and it was good experience. Although I would explore more before I make my final liking of Japanese food – girls helped a lot in informing and making a selection for first time let who may not be that sushi friendly
Pretty impressed, i have to say there special rolls were more tasty than a few other places i’ve tried.The food was pretty awesome at reasonable price. The service there was great too, food served very fast and basically had everthing i asked for. I am glad i went and had a great experience. Definitely coming back!!
they switched owner about a month ago. I go in an can notice the food changed a bit .ordered two special roll both had a hair in them, pissed.they still had the nerve to charge me .never going back.
Dinner AYCE is pretty decent in terms of their rolls. They have so many special rolls.Sushi and sashimi are not that great as they taste frozen just a little bit before serving.Their prices are reasonable.Good and fast service.
This is a decent all you can eat sushi joint. It had good sushi for a reasonable price. The main complaint I have with this this place is that the wasabi wasn’t. Instead, they clearly used green coloured horseradish, and while this isn’t bad (it being a fairly common practice to use horseradish instead of wasabi), it is preferable to use the real thing. UPDATE, NOVEMBER 2018: They now have medium strong wasabi instead of horseradish, and a new chicken menu. Highly recommended, with my rating going from 4 to 5.
Not impressed. The reviews are good but unfortunately the food doesn’t match those reviews. I ordered (and paid for) wild salmon sushi, hotate sushi (whole scallop) and BC roll (salmon skin). What I receive was farmed salmon sushi, chopped scallop sushi and tempura salmon roll. The taste was so so but since I paid for what I ordered I doubt they made a mistake on my order. I think they simply don’t know how to make a proper BC roll or Hotategai… I wouldn’t go back. Friendly staff though.
