Had the short rib poutine. Short ribs were good not alot of it. Fries looked as though they were sitting in the fridge for a day and took out at the last second then short ribs and gravy drizzled over it then put under a heating lamp for 15 mins. Don’t even try to look for cheese curds they are very hard to find and there are barely any of them. Prices are high but of you like a hipster atmosphere and a big selection of mediocre beers then come here to waste your money here.
Quirky and fun decor and atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful staff. Food and drinks are enjoyable and there is a wide selection with something for everyone. Best part is their beer selection (shocking, I know). Great options at good prices.
Won’t be back. First time we came the food was pretty good, not amazing, and service was fast. Beer is a bit expensive but great choices, my main reason for going. I ended up recommending the place to someone a few days later, they went and told us the food was very disappointing. We went again hoping our friends visit was a fluke. Bruschetta was good, (we had it before). Good ends there. Shortrib poutine, undercooked fries with no seasoning and the gravy was completely one note. Worst was the wings… Got the jerk wings horrible, they tasted like vinegar and that’s it, there was no seasoning or other flavour. I told the server we were very unhappy as they were just awful and she offered us another kind, we accepted and went for honey garlic can’t go wrong right? Wrong. Absolutely no seasoing, and they were just weirdly gross just like clumps of raw garlic. We both were grossed out by then and disappointed.Service was very good. Food was pretty gross. Won’t be going back again. Kinda bummed out.
The beer selection is great but my food…I had the Frenchman pizza and it was one of the worst things I’ve ever had in a sit down restaurant. The blue cheese was clumped together in the middle so the first bite of each slice was all blue cheese and each subsequent bite had none. The rest of the pizza was bland and completely tasteless. Won’t go back unless I’m dragged.
It was less than average. Basic fettuccine, a charge for bread, bland lboulliabaise, all at a 20$ + price point. Atmosphere was more of a pub with increased prices.
Short staffed tonight but you wouldn’t know it with Emily Mike and Tammy. I’ve been coming to this establishment for a long time and each time it’s been pleasing
