Came here for the Korean fried chicken. Just had the half order of the original. It came with salt to dip in and pickled radishes. I thought the chicken had a nice crispy skin. But I’d rather have it with sauce already on it or some kind of seasoning instead of dipping it in the salt. It was still good though. Also tried the pan fried chicken with spice sauce with rice cakes and cheese on top. I’ve always wanted to try a dish like this. It kind of reminded me of pizza. The spicy sauce had a smoky flavour to it, but it wasn’t too spicy. It was kind of small though and not too many rice cakes. We also order a yogurt soju. The waitress mentioned that it came in a big bottle ; but we thought it’d be ok. When it came, it was actually larger than I thought and I should have listened to the waitress. For 18.99, I think it was definitely worth it. Also something worth mentioning is that there were no side dishes (banchan). I don’t know if you have to order certain foods for it toe come with it. But banchan is my favourite part and it was kind of disappointing not to have any.Overall, the service was good and food was OK. Might come back to try their other chicken they have.

Came twice on separate occasions- servers will walk by without saying hi so I would have to ask them myself for a table. Both occasions I was asked to wait 10-15 minutes. Both occasions I never got the table because I noticed that they gave my table to other customers and ended up making me wait over 20 minutes because I didn’t believe they would actually give away my table while I waited right outside the door. When I came by yesterday, the guy told me that tables were clearing up. After waiting 15 minutes we asked another guy to check the list and see how much longer- we then realized that he didn’t even put our names down. Let me just say if you’re not Korean you may not get a table if they’re busy- don’t waste your time!
My friend and I both ordered the Korean ramen with egg. When both dishes arrived, my bowl barely had any noodles. I asked the waitress why mine barely had any noodles and she gave me a blank stare. She doesn’t speak English. Okay that’s fine. She went and grabbed another waiter to talk to me and I asked the same question. He barely understands any English either. Eventually, after a few minutes of back and forth and running too and from the kitchen, he understood me. He then proceeds to tell me that the chef said the portion is fine and that there’s nothing wrong with my order. Waiter then told me to just take some noodles from my friend’s bowl…Wow…lol!
Pretentious service. I walked into the restaurant with my mother and it was empty. After being placed in the back, I asked them to move us to the window, and the server said no! She was saving it for a group of 4! Literally we were the only people in the restaurant! Walked straight out! No time for that in an area with so much great Korean food! We had a great meal and fabulous service at Base just down the road.
Disrespectful waitress. Waitress extremly disrespectful to the customer, when store is full, regardless of whether or not you have put down your name on the list, this waitlress will let the friend of her go first. Way she respond to this situation was very rude and attitude towards the customer was bad. Will never go back to this place.

Funky Tasting Chicken. See my mobile review…bad bad bad30 Dec, 2014Avoid this place unless you like funky tasting chicken. Ordered the fried chicken to go, and when I got home, to my disgust it tasted like old funky egg laying hen meat. Dried out, stinky and made me want to wretch. Called to complain and was told it was fine, nobody else complained. Obviously they don’t care about service or food quality. Eat at your own risk….you’ve been warned!
