Everytime we come to Vancouver, it is a must to come to Cardero for dinner. The view is spectacular, the fish always fresh and the quality always at the top. Highly recommended.
It was my birthday and I decided to take my family to a good place to celebrate my birthday and have a delicious seafood, but unfortunately the food was not good specially the fish with veggies, it was smelly fish, the shrimp was also not satisfactory, I had very high expectations for this restaurant because of the location and the reviews that I read, but it turn to be the opposite, it didnt worth the price at all for this kind of food , I would not recommend this place for anything
We visited here again while visiting Vancouver this week. This is a great spot to enjoy the fruits of the sea while dining on the harbor. The wok squid appetizer is very good, and we had grilled char and miso sablefish for dinner. Both pieces of fish were outstanding, and the service was great. Highly recommend this restaurant!
The food I had was absolutely amazing!!! It’s the best roast chicken I ever had. I had the Cornish Roasted Hen. I recommend this dish to anyone. The oysters were also very good and the rest of the food I would give a 4. All the desserts were really good too.
Their wok squid was the best thing I tried out of many dishes! I had the cajun lingcod with fried rice. The lingcod was cooked perfecty but their fried rice was more like sticky rice with peas. Their quinoa tasted buttery – absolutely delicious! The steak was mediocre. The lamb chops had good flavor to it. Next time I will probably just come for the squid and some drinks and enjoy the view from the patio!
