Food was decent. Service wasn’t the greatest in my opinion we were sat at the table and asked for waters to start and we didn’t receive our water til half our meals had arrived. They were kind of all over the place. My favorite item I would have to say was the karage and the amebi sweet shrimp. Everything was just okay.
Went here for Dine Out back in January. Very tasty experience, but portions were smaller than we expected. Ambience is interesting- kind of like a fancy restaurant collided with a sports bar!
Very lively sushi restaurant. My wife wanted to try it out and it was a good experience. The sushi was very good in terms of taste and presentation. My only complaint is that the menu was kind of hard to read and all over the place. But overall, a 4 star experience.
Came across this pleasant surprise on Robson. Friday night, we did not make a reservation. Lucky to get a table for 5 right away at 6pm. They were offering the dine-out menu, but we figured for similar price, we can probably get more variety. We ordered a sashimi platter, some tempura, cheesy kyozas, a few sushi rolls and a mentaiko stirred fried udon. All were pretty delicious. Will definitely return again.
Had dinner with friends for Dine Out Vancouver Festival at this restaurant and our overall experienced was excellent. The food presentation is awesome and the foods were all delicious. The staff are friendly and attentive. The place is good, not bright and music volume is just right. Highly recommended to try.
We made reservations but ended up coming in early but got seated promptly. We started with a chopped scallop roll where the scallops were plenty but rice was not as fresh that’s where I have to deduct a point. The foie gras was great- melted in your mouth. The husband tried some uni- which I’m not a fan of. We also tried a tuna they had a On a special feature (3 pieces for $21) forgot the type but it was really good and was fresh! Would recommend and come here again.
