Norboo Korean Restaurant is located on the Robson Street, which is right beside the Sura Korean. Accidentally, my friend and I had a lunch at this place once. It was during the lunch time, this place was super empty. The servers were slow. The food came very slow too. The food portion was OK, but it was smaller than other Korean restaurants. The taste was OK. Nothing is excited in this place. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I highly recommend people to try Jang Mo Jib which is right across the street from this place and the Sura Korean besides this place. food.belindajin.com

I would never recommend this place to anyone…server was rude, food was raw and the bathrooms were disgusting. They should also be reported for charging mandatory tip (not indicated on the menu).

went here a couple times before, but never really recorded what’s in the place, so came in and it was quite late night, the place was rather empty, and it was weekdays as well. the food portion i must say for the price that we paid, it’s deifinitely smaller that what i’ve expected as well, although the food and flavour are at what i’ve expected, at a regular normal korean food. definitely didn’t went above my expectation of okay type of korean food, the ingredients for marinating/coating can be definitely be better. will prefer jang mo jib over this place. and as well as sura over this one as well. mangkr.wordpress.com

Needed a quick bite before watching Starwars on Christmas. This place was open. Nothing too special going on in here. I had the Tofu soup with beef. It was boiling when it came out which was nice in a cold night. Dish itself was decent, had some kick to it.

Would come back again!I ordered the seafood + soft tofu hotpot ($12.99) and it was definitely the perfect dish for a cold evening. However, I’d probably order the smaller spicy seafood tofu soup next time as the hotpot was a bit too big for me to finish! We also ordered a seafood pancake to share. It was good considering how affordable it was ($8.99).I’d probably come back here again with friends and eat it family-style just so we can get more things on the menu!

Wonderful no frills homey space, very kind friendly servers, and oh the soondubu… banchan wasn’t anything spectacular but fine. The Korean Fried Chicken was lovely crispy and sauce was great. The soondubu was awesome. Broth was delicate and perfectly flavored and the spice level just right. We got the seafood soondubu and everything was cooked perfectly, even the squid (not rubbery at all!!!!) We had a little bonding moment with the 2 servers over the funny korean game show on the tv… It was a great experience. Now if only Portland had some good Korean restaurants…
