This place has great food but the the people that work there are clueless. We sat for 45 min after we ordered our food and nothing came. We watched two ladies come in after we ordered, order their food, get it and eat it, and we still had not gotten our orders. The waiter did not come to our table once to check in and then when we asked for the eta on our food, the waiter told us that we would have to wait even longer or we could leave and not pay for our drinks. Needless to say we left and will never go back. Maybe if we had a couple vaginas between the two of us, we would have gotten better service.

We like the environment. Even sitting at the bar is comfortable.I had the breakfast sandwich, the English miffin is home made and delicious. I wanted to order half an order of the beet salad with my breakfast sandwich, but they wouldn’t have it. That spoiled the enjoyment when I ended up having to force myself to finish the whole salad sort of reminded me of being forced to eat healthy stuff when I was child. I love their home made ketchup, though, really spicy, but you need a coffee afterwards ;)What wrecked the meal was the finish. I orderd almond milk cappuccino. The barister did not foam my almond milk properly. My husband warned me that his cappuccino was no good, but I needed something to change the taste. Unfortunately, even with single shot, short (restretta), my coffee was still bitter with wimpy thin foam.

This cozy restaurant is located at the west end of downtown Vancouver. The ambiance is quite comfortable with modern design. All the servers were friendly and more than one server served us. All the dishes on the brunch menu sound delicious. We could only order a couple of them to try. We ordered avocado and beet salad and Ciabatta French toast. Both of them tasted fantastic! Avocado and beets mixed well together with their special dressings. Ciabatta French toast had vanilla icecream and blueberry compote. After we finished these dishes, we wish we could eat more. Haha.. We enjoyed eating brunch at this kind of unique restaurant more than going to White Spot, Earls, Cactus Club and etc. We would like to come back and try more dishes in the near future.

This is the best multi-course meal I have had in recent memory, I was blown away when we hosted our Holiday party here last night. We started with a Roasted Organic Sunchoke Soup which was licked clean, that started things off well. The soup is harvested from North Arm Farms and had cocoa dusted jerusalum artichoke chips and creme fraiche. The Boneless Beef Short Rib hit the spot and had the perfect balance of flavours and texture. It has pearl onion, juniper demi, chive mash potatoes, roasted winter vegetables.Dessert was the grand finale which as a Mexican and Spaniard at heart, I was going in with high expectations which were SURPASSED. The Spanish Flan and Churros with spiced milk chocolate ganache rocked my tastebuds and made me a very happy man.I had a Pisco Sour which was delightful and every other drink I saw at the table looked incredible, it was all so unexpected! The icing on the cake was the story behind it – the whole family was running the place. The amazing young couple who own it had one in the back as the chef and the other on the floor. Mom was in the back helping with dishes, one of the cousins and their partner were working the bar…you could tell there was nothing but pure love in this place.Whether it be a group gathering on the long table, an intimate date in the corner, or anything in between, this place is the best gem of Vancouver in 2016.PS: They just merged with a fantastic place called Commodity Juicery (their first location is on Fraser Street) which is a really cool twist to the whole experience.

Found this little gem hidden in DT.Their cauliflower sliders and cornbread sandwiches are a must try. Menus might seem a bit odd to some diners but if you are feeling adventurous you are in this place for a delight.PS> read through the menu, some of the dishes mainly vegetarian are more filling than you would expect it to be 🙂
